'Prelude to World War 3'
Heresies in the Early Churches
Acts 20:29-30 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.
After the death of Paul (62-67AD), wicked and covetous church leaders corrupted the Christians faith by partially keeping the Mosaic law.
Note God destroyed the rejected Temple of God in 70AD to prevent Jews and Christians from keeping the law (sacrifices, feasts, etc).
During the 2nd and 3rd Century AD, the Christian church faced many heresies, which includes Docetism, Adoptionism, Sabellianism and Arianism.
These heresies deny the triune Godhead (Trinity) by demoting Jesus to be a creation instead of the Creator with God the Father.
Some of Today's Heresies
Heresies contradict Jesus' words and teachings in both the Gospels and the Apostles' Epistles.
1. Keeping the Old Covenant
Jer 31:31-32 “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord."
Jeremiah prophesied the New Covenant replacing the Old Covenant. Christians who keep any Old Covenant law including Jewish Feasts will lose their salvation.
Gal 5:4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
2. Keeping Jewish Feasts
John 5:46 “For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.
The Apostles knew that devout Jews would believe the gospel of Christ, so at every Jewish feast they would rush back to Jerusalem to evangelize those devout Jews from foreign land.
3. Worship only on Saturday (Sabbath)
Acts 2:46-47 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
Jesus had set Christians free to worship Him at any place, anywhere, anyhow and anytime.
4. Sunday Worship is Demonic
Acts 20:7 Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight.
Paul broke bread with Christians in Troas on the first day of the week (Sunday)
5. Once Saved always Saved
I Tim 4:1-2 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron. (Read also Heb 6:4-6)
Belief of sinful leaders to comfort themselves for their covetous and adulterous lifestyle.
6. Prosperity Gospel
Luke 6:20 Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said: “Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God."
Jesus blessed the poor saying that the kingdom of God belongs to them. He cursed the wicked rich who heaped up treasurers in the last days.
James 5:1, 3b Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you!... You have heaped up treasure in the last days.
7. Secret Rapture
1 The 5:4-5 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day (Rapture) should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
Every Christian in the last days must have a good knowledge of Endtime signs and events, otherwise Rapture will overtake them as a thief in the night.
Rev 16:15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”
